2005 Bricco Magno Langhe DOC

Super Piemontese blend of these two local grape varieties, Nebbiolo and Barbera.

This is a gorgeous wine. The flavour of these classic indigenous grapes really comes through yet wrapped in a sumptuous, modern-styled oaky cloak.

Tasting Notes
Deep ruby red, tending toward garnet with age. Delicate bouquet of violets and forest fruits. Dry, robust and full-bodied wine yet velvety and luxurious finish. Some gentle tannins but overall well-balanced.

Roasted red meats, liver, game, mature cheeses.

Winemaking Notes
Matured in French barriques for 12 months.
