Here is a selection of our wines which have recently been commended in the press and the wines that we took to The Wine Show in Islington, London, held 22nd-25th October. Our lovely Lugana was of such interest to the Sunday Telegraph wine writer, Susy Atkins, that she presented this delicious white wine to tasters in the Wine Theatre. Meanwhile, The Observer's Tim Atkin and fellow wine critic Robert Joseph beat a path to the Amordivino stand to taste the fabulous Vignantica Aglianico.

This lovely white wine comes from vineyards located close to the southern shore of Lake Garda, in Peschiera del Garda and Pozzolengo.
Lugana is the best zone for production of the Trebbiano grape variety and the wines show great elegance and minerality. Due to its own peculiarity, “Cento Filari” can be enjoyed even 3 years after the vintage.
Tasting Notes
Bright straw yellow colour. Great perfume with intense notes of flowers and fruits. On the palate the wine reveals a good minerality and balanced acidity along with fullness, softness and a lengthy finish. To be served at 8°-10° C.
Food matching
It is a delight as an aperitif and great with hors d’oeuvre, lake fish (whitefish, eel, trout) as well as sea fish or a delicate main course.
Winemaking Notes
Grapes: Trebbiano 95%, Chardonnay 5%.
11 hectares of clay-calcareous soils. Production limited to 90 quintals per hectare by judicious pruning. Vinification has been carried out with soft pressing of the grapes and alcoholic fermentation under controlled temperature at 18°-20° C. “Cento Filari” stayed up to January in contact with skins for a better expression of its own potential. Bottling carried out in February.
