2006 Lagrein Riserva DOC

This is the star wine in Bernhard Pichler's range from his Messnerhof winery, set in the outskirts of Bolzano and surrounded by the beautiful mountains of the Dolomites.

A superb expression of the Lagrein grape.

Tasting Notes
An intense purple colour in the glass, with a powerful body and a rich core of plum, liquorice and tobacco flavours. Soft tannins, good minerality, and the dark chocolate flavours that Lagrein is noted for.
