The schiava grape variety is red in colour and this delicious rosé from the Dolomites in northern Italy provides both mountain freshness and great flavour.

Tasting Notes
Delicate scents of red summer fruits: raspberries, mulberries, redcurrants. Definitely dry on the palate with well-balanced acidity, a lovely light mineral red.

Matching
No sweetness in this rosé, so great with seafood or chicken salads. Also good with lamb or tofu.

Winemaking Notes
Gentle pressing to retain fruit aromas. Juice left in contact with skins for 12-24 hours to take the colour. Fermentation in temperature-controlled steel tanks.
