ROSSOBRUT of Verrini Munari is an absolutely original sparkling wine and a favourite when the Ferrari boys throw a party! Its Classic Method processing, its harmonious characteristics of fragrance and taste and the red colour that distinguishes it, define it as a vintage level sparkling wine, unique in its category.
Tasting Notes
Lively ruby red, crystalline in transparency. It is possible to catch a glimpse of its very small bubbles rising slowly. Fruity, fresh and typical of raspberry. Wildly intriguing, with floral scents of wisteria and violet. Optimally balanced, fresh but pleasantly acidic, of good taste and lightly tannic. A long lasting but highly refined subtle taste. Perlage: very small bubbles and long lasting.
Matching
It is excellent as an aperitif, with its tiny perlage exalting in the flute; it also lends itself wonderfully to cocktail making with strawberries and fruits of the forest. As an aperitif, it matches well canapes, especially savoury tartlets.
As it is an excellent champenois, it can elegantly accompany a whole meal and it is particularly good with lobster.
The optimal, recommended drinking temperature is 8°C (47°F), preferably served in an ice bucket to maintain the correct temperature.
Winemaking Notes
Obtained by means of fermentation in bottle, maturation in pupitres and manual processing according to the Classic Method (champenois). The process continues for 3/4 years.
