Typically smooth and fruity red wine from a blend of grapes produced in the old Bardolino zone to the south-east of Lake Garda.
Tasting Notes
Light, fruit driven nose expressing typically Veronese characteristics of strawberries and red cherries. The palate is light bodied, fresh and attractive with ripe red fruits, little tannin and a supporting acidity that is balancing and at the same time refreshing.
Matching
Will accompany most meals, particularly Mediterranean dishes and white meats.
Winemaking Notes
Rondinella 35%, Barbera 5%, Corvina 50%, Molinara 10%
Sourced from gravel and clay vineyards situated in the heart of the Bardolino Classico area. Maceration lasts for 10 days and fermentation takes place in stainless steel at a controlled temperature, between 22 and 25 degrees C. The wine spends one year in small stainless steel tanks and refines in bottle before release.
