2005 Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi DOC Tralivio

One of the finest examples of Verdicchio. This is a white wine packed with flavour and depth, a real treat. Sartarelli only make top class Verdicchio wines and their expertise is evident here. A special selection of grapes only from their best vineyard.

Verdicchio is a serious varietal: wonderfully aromatic with weight and presence, in skilled hands it can produce rich wines of great quality. The Sartarelli vineyards are over 300 metres altitude, resulting in a longer ripening season  and a higher concentration of aromas and sugars.

The previous vintage of this wine was awarded with 2 (of 3) Glasses from the prestigious Italian wine guide, Gambero Rosso, and 3 (of 3) Stars from the esteemed Veronelli guide.

Tasting Notes
A developed and full nose of white peach and nectarine carries a refreshing zippy palate with developed characters from the nose.
