2005 Aleatico IGT Lazio

An amazing red dessert wine which graciously accompanies bitter chocolate as well as mature cheese.

Wine Tasting Notes
Ruby red colour; very intense perfume of roses and wild strawberries; sweet, aromatic and very lingering on the palate.

Food Matching
Chocolate, escpecially the dark one and all chocolate desserts. It accompanies well cheese.

Winemaking Notes
The grapes are left to over-ripen and then are frozen. Fermentation happens at controlled temperature in big vats.
