2006 Barbera Oltrepo' Pavese DOC

Easy drinking Barbera with all the liveliness of the Oltrepo' Pavese area. Viticulture has been practised here since ancient times and the Barbera grape variety thrives here, as well as in its more common home in Piemonte.

A lovely and well-structured young wine from this large co-operative winery which employs famous oenologist Riccardo Cotarella as a consultant.

Tasting Notes
Intense ruby red colour with violet tones. Intense perfume of black fruits and delicate vinous nuances. Young fruity taste with almond notes and a pleasantly lingering finish.
