A wonderful example from the very northernmost parts of the Italian Alps. This winery is boldly producing quality wines via organic methods.

Adige is the name of the river and alto indicates how high is the land here. This region of Alto-Adige was known as the Sudtirol when under Austrian control, prior to the first world war. Producers here have special dispensation to print the old Austrian names on their labels.

Muller Thurgau is a cross-bred grape variety with a lovely, delicate, sweet freshness.

Tasting Notes
Floral with wild rose aromas and field flowers. Fruity, with apples and pears. Harmonious in the aftertaste, rich and smooth at the same time. Elegant and balanced finish.

Grilled fish and as an aperitif.

Winemaking Notes
In stainless steel tanks for 6 weeks at 18-19°C.
