A dry and aromatic wine from the hills around Rome, this is great for a classy aperitif and has won fans amongst the cogniscenti.
Tasting Notes
Deep straw-yellow colour with light golden reflections; very intense perfume, typical of the Moscato di Terracina grape, with notes of tropical fruit, withered rose and apricot; it is full, aromatic yet acidic, with a very long finish that closes with notes of bitter almond.
Matching
Fried fish, seafood starters, but it is also an excellent aperitif.
Winemaking Notes
Soft pressing, cold maceration for about 24-36 hours and very slow temperature-controlled fermentation. The following decantations, always under strict temperature control, facilitate the preservation in this aromatic, dry wine of all the aromas and taste of the Moscato di Terracina grape.
