Deep ruby red; the bouquet reveals hints of spices combined with a fruitiness which is reminescent of redcurrants and rasberries; intense taste with an elegant and rounded tannic structure and well-balanced acidity.
Matching
White meats, aromatic chese.
Winemaking Notes
80% Sangiovese, 10% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon.
The grapes are picked by end in the middle of September for the Merlot and the beginning of October for the Sangiovese and cabernet. Vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks with maceration on the skins for 15 days. After devatting and malolactic fermentation, the wine is place in new French oak barriques for 18 months.
