2011 Weissburgunder Alto Adige DOC

From the hills around Bolzano comes this lovely elegant and mineral white wine. These mountains used to be known as the former Austrian South Tirol, but known as Alto Adige since its cessation to Italy in the early 20th century.

Tasting Notes
Light yellow in colour, notes of apples and lime on the nose and a pleasantly elegant, fruity, fresh taste in the mouth.

Light seafood dishes, grilled chicken, fresh soft cheeses and salads.

Winemaking Notes
Carefully selected grapes grown in vineyards at altitudes of 400-600 metres above sea level. Harvest in September. Vinified in steel vats to retain freshness of flavours.
