2007 Villa Malacari Rosso Conero DOC

Superb red from the Marche region.

This is the estate's flagship wine made from grapes grown in vineyards at over 250 metres altitude and predominantly from vines of 36 years of age.

Tasting Notes
Dark ruby red colour in the glass; scents of cherries and blackberries; smooth velvety texture on the tongue with a long flavourful finish.

Winemaking Notes
Grapes harvested by hand before a careful selection is made in the winery. Fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks for 20 days with regular pumping over. Ageing in a mixture of French barriques and larger oak casks for 12 months prior to bottling.
