Lovely elegant white wine from this quality producer. The Favorita grape variety particularly likes these steep hills of the Langhe in Piemonte.
The Favorita is a rather rare original Piedmontese vine, related to Vermentino, with grapes that are larger than the Arneis. The wine is not so alcoholic but fresh and with a bouquet of flowers and exotic fruit. The word sarvaj means “wild” and is a reference to the ancient wild character of the Roero hills covered with vineyards and woods.
