Tasting Notes
Garnet red in colour with an intense bouquet showing a hint of violets. Dry and robust yet delicately long-lasting on the palate.

Roast and grilled red meats; game; mature cheeses.

Winemaking Notes
Grapes: 85% Prugnolo Gentile, 10% Canaiolo Nero, 5% Mammolo.
Harvested by hand mid-October. Vinified in contact with the skins for over 20 days at controlled temperatures. Malolactic fermentation also carried out. Aged for 18 months in a mixture of large oak botti and 2nd-passage French oak barriques.
