Amordivino was at the inaugural Wokingham Wine Festival, held in the Old Town Hall of this lovely Berkshire market town on Saturday 6th & Sunday 7th December 2008.

An estimated 600 people enjoyed tasting unusual and quality wines from around the world, offered by ten different merchants - all members of the Association of Small Direct Wine Merchants (ASDW). The helpers were busy with their trolleys as many visitors took the opportunity to stock up for Christmas.

The festival was run as a charity fundraiser in aid of the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Wokingham Round Table helped to organise the event.

The fair is an initiative of ASDW chairman, Nick Dobson, and fellow ASDW member Tony Hill of Bordeaux & Beyond.
