New European Regulation on Labelling
From 25th November, if a wine produced in Europe contains sulphur dioxide above the level of 10 milligrams per litre, it is mandatory to print on the label “Contains sulphites”. The indication must be printed in the language of the country to which the wine is exported. This regulation comes from the European Union and does not affect wines coming from the “New World”.
