Another first! Amordivino at the Newbury Wine Festival

Amordivino were among the participants at the inaugural Newbury Wine Festival, held in the Berkshire town over the weekend of 13-14th October.

Close to 500 wine lovers thronged the refurbished Corn Exchange building in the centre of the Berkshire market town of Newbury.

They came to see Amordivino (isn't that enough?) and 18 other small-but-beautiful wine merchants and sample their wares. A rare chance to access such quality wines for only an £8 entrance fee.

Here you could learn about the origins of the wines and explore a myriad of different styles to suit all tastes. There were even Masterclasses at which people could learn how wine is made, how to taste and grade wine, and take the opportunity to ask questions of trade professionals.

Nick Willcocks, MD of Step Up Wines and organiser of the event, said:
"We are very pleased wth the first ever Newbury Wine Festival. We are looking to double visitor numbers next year and make an even better event for the wine loving public!"
