Ingredients
1kg beef
500g tomato sauce
2 carrots
3 onions
2 garlic cloves
2 celery stalks
rosemary
1 glass of red wine
olive oil
salt and pepper
Method
Chop the garlic and the rosemary and sprinkle on the meat, adding salt and pepper. Put the meat in a pot and slightly fry in olive oil for 15 minutes. Add the wine and let it cook. Mince the carrots, onions and celery and slightly fry in a pan. Add the tomato sauce and let it cook for about 15 minutes. Add the sauce with the vegetables to the meat and cook for 3 hours. If the meat becomes too dry, add some broth to keep it moist. When the meat is ready, cut in slices and serve. The sauce can be used to dress the meat or a pasta.
