Ugni blanc

This grape variety has differing aliases around the world.  Known mostly as trebbiano in Italy and widely grown. Here and in southern France it produces a fruity, acidic white wine, best drunk when young and chilled. In the Cognac region of France and in Australia it is known as the St. Émilion grape. Australian growers also know this variety under the alias names of White Hermitage and White Shiraz.
