Traminer
Parent grape of the popular Gewürztraminer clone. Still grown in France and in California but almost everywhere has been replaced by its much more intense and aromatic offspring clone (see Traminer aromatico). Probably native of the Termeno (Tremin in German) from where it is believed to get its name, the Traminer is considered the originator of the more famous and widespread Gewürztraminer. The Italian Traminer is generally less aromatic than Gewürztraminer.| We're sorry but there are no wines matching your criteria, please broaden your search terms for more results. |
