Pignolo
A grape considered native to Friuli-Venezia Giulia, it was practically extinct to wine production until a small group of local wine-growers reintroduced it from cuttings from the Abbey of Rosazzo vineyards. It produces dense, dark wines with strong black fruits and spicy undertones.
