One of the most well-known Italian dessert wines from an excellent producer. This historic Tuscan estate has been producing wine for over 600 years and was the childhood home of the famous Monna Lisa.
A gorgeous example of this traditional wine.
Each bottle is presented in its own attractive card case (see right of picture above), making it an ideal gift.
Tasting Notes
Gold yellow, tending towards amber. Bouquet: intense, persistent, ethereal, with hints of almonds, dried fruit and roses. Taste: sweet, warm, intense, persistent.

Biscuits, yellow jam tarts, cheese.
Winemaking Notes
The grapes are placed in crates and left to dry naturally until December. They are then softly pressed and fermented off skins in 75-100 litre oak kegs. The wine is aged in kegs for four years and a half followed by at least four months of bottle ageing.
