Here is a selection of our wines which have recently been commended in the press and the wines that we took to The Wine Show in Islington, London, held 22nd-25th October. Our lovely Lugana was of such interest to the Sunday Telegraph wine writer, Susy Atkins, that she presented this delicious white wine to tasters in the Wine Theatre. Meanwhile, The Observer's Tim Atkin and fellow wine critic Robert Joseph beat a path to the Amordivino stand to taste the fabulous Vignantica Aglianico.

A delicious new red wine from the producer of great super-Tuscans. Showing innovation with a unique glass stopper, yet traditional local grape varieties.
This winery produces only wines of the highest quality. In fact, this is the first vintage of the Green Label, designed to be more accessible in its youth than the superb White & Black Label wines. See the range here.
Although a product of the Chianti Classico zone, the producers refused to compromise on quality just to comply with the regulations. They have blended the local variety Mammolo with their delicious Sangiovese to soften it sufficiently to make a wonderfully elegant, quite delicate, red wine.
Tasting Notes
Bright vermillion red. Distinctive sweet cherries on the nose, hints of violet; fresh and fragrant. Full-bodied with a delicate finish.
Food Matching
Ideal with lighter red and white meats, also good with juicy fish dishes.
Winemaking Notes
Maceration at 25C for 8 days. Complete malolactic fermentation. One year in stainless steel only, controlled temperature during summer.
