Le Mandolare

A grape, a hill and a cellar represent the brand-image since they symbolise the fundamental elements of this winery's work and passion. The name "Le Mandolare" comes from the best vineyard, called such due to the Soave wine's famous  flavour which hints at almond, or mandorla in Italian. In the very middle of the sweet hills of the Soave area this farm has been making wine for longer than half a century, growing and harvesting grapes in its lands in Brognoligo, Castelcerino, Monteforte e Fittà.

At present vines are cultivated in about 25 hectares of land in the area of Soave Classico. Grapes are carefully selected and vinification strictly controlled in order to respect the typical characteristics of the territory.

The experience of the vintner Giobatta Dal Bosco, his love of the land and the great passion for his work, as well as the craving for innovation of his daughter Germana and his son-in-law Renzo Rodighiero, are now bringing the farm to the level of an accurate and controlled production plant, which is constantly striving to improve quality.

The bottling process is controlled on-site in order to minimise the dangers of inexperienced handling.

Visitors to this farm have the opportunity to taste the different products and meet the farm-owners, who are glad to show them the cellars and explain the phases of wine-making. It is also possible to visit the vineyards to see how they grow grapes and see the facilities with one's own eyes. You will be particularly impressed by the familiar and friendly attitude of the farm-owners, who do their utmost to communicate their love for the work.

Even Nino Manfredi, a famous personality in the Italian film industry, enjoys drinking the wines made from Le Mandolare!
