Founded in 1882 in the Siena province, the success of the company Gestioni Piccini sees its wines exported throughout Europe and the world. From their headquarters at Castellina in Chianti, in the heart of the Chianti Classico area, brother and sister Mario and Martina Piccini mark the fourth generation of what remains, at heart, a family winemaking business.

Piccini's history begins in 1882 when the company was founded by Angiolo Piccini (left) in Poggibonsi in the Siena province.
Angiolo began distribution locally and later expanded throughout the region of Tuscany.
In 1920 his son Mario (left) joined his father in the winery and began to promote their wines throughout Italy.
In the 1960s the winery developed rapidly under Pierangiolo (right), grandson of Angiolo, and they began exporting wines throughout Europe.

In 1980 the headquarters moved to Castellina in Chianti, in the heart of the Chianti Classico area. Today, Pierangiolo's children Mario (left) and Martina (right)
mark the fourth generation, perfecting production and marketing and giving their customers continued satisfaction by constantly improving the quality of wines and delivering them worldwide.
Oenologist to the group is Angelo Alescio (left), a kind man of apparently endless patience and forbearance, as anyone who knows Martina Piccini must agree. Certainly, his work in the production of the great value Tuscan IGTs of the red Tegole and the white Albus bear testament to his winemaking skills.
