Casa Catelli offers a new range of indigenous Italian wines that showcase the unique flavours of the south of Italy. Wines are only made from indigenous Italian varieties, those that best express the particular characteristics of their respective region.
Each wine is made to be fruity, but there is a balance between tradition (terroir) and modernity. For each wine, Casa Catelli is in control of the finished product from the vineyards to the bottle, having carefully selected all the vineyards and the wineries. The winemaking team works very closely with the growers in order to obtain continuity of style and to ensure that the distinctive flavours of the indigenous varietals are maintained.
Casa Catelli is focused on some of the best native varietals from the south of Italy. Apulia and Basilicata in particular, have been a part of the Italian winemaking tradition for over 2,500 years. These unique geographical locations, climates and soils, produce some of the most interesting indigenous red varietals of Italy, such as Negroamaro, Primitivo and Aglianico.
