The "Cantina Vitivinicola Nervi" was founded at the beginning of 1900 by Luigi Nervi and was acquired in 1991 by Gruppo Sitindustrie, multinational holding which is the most important operator in the production and commerce of Gattinara wine.

The company owns about 30% of the Gattinara zone (about 33Ha).

The old cellars and the 1800 buildings are located in the outskirts of Valduggia, a town in the Vercelli province and are the heart of the production process. Here the grapes are stored, pressed, fermented in oak vats and left to rest for at least 3 years in Slavonian oak barrels.

The result is unique quality in a series of highly selected products, in the constant research of the right balance, between innovation and tradition.

The skills and experience of the winemakers, oenologists and employees led the company to the highest achievements and to national and international awards.
