The Cogno’s family, after four generation of wine making culture, still propose themselves with the same pride and passion they once started working the land of Langa. The Azienda Agricola Elvio Cogno, based in Novello, is managed and run by Valter Fissore alongside is wife Nadia Cogno, and with experienced advices of Nadia’s father: Elvio.
Surrounded by its 10 hectares, 9 of which are dedicaded to vineyards, the Azienda, dated 1991, is located in the most important sub zone of Novello: Ravera.
The winery was built after major restorations and refurbishments were made into the 17th century farmstead, bought in 1990 by the Cognos, after a gap of time spent at La Morra in patnership with Marcarini.
Today, after its perfect and complete restoration, the winery fits perfectly whith the characteristic Langa’s landscape of spotless vineyards.
