Wine production became a thriving activity for the Avanzis in 1931. In that year Mr.Avanzi succeeded in obtaining an excellent red wine with grapes from the west shore of Lake Garda.   Now the white and chiaretto (rose) wines have reached the same level.

With more than 70 hectares of farmland, the Avanzis are one of the most renowned names for the production of Garda DOC wines and high-quality olive oil.


The passion for vineyards and its most noble product "il vino" became a thriving activity for the Avanzis in 1931. In that year Mr.Avanzi succeeded in obtaining an excellent red wine with grapes from the west shore of Lake Garda.

In 1938 the company got bigger and the so called "Cantina Vecchia" was bought. The building can be dated as far back as the 17th century.

As time went on the farm company enlarged its producing facilities and bought valued vineyards as well as olive plantations, the first Novellos and Chiarettos were made. Soon afterwards appeared the Charmat and Champenoise white sparkling wines . With more than 70 Hectars farmland the Avanzis are one of the most renowned names for the production of D.O.C wines and high-quality olive oil..
