In 1964 Mr. Pandolfo, wine producer for generations, first in Sicily then in Tunisia, buys a small vineyard for the vinification of its own grapes. And since the barrels from Velletri, the first sales point, and the first customers, the vineyard improves technologically: a modern bottling line, small stainless steel, thermo conditioned tanks; in the vineyards the big tent is replaced by the high density lines; the chestnut wood barrels are replace by the french oak barrels, all indispensable requisites for producing high quality wines.
Merlot, Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Montepulciano, Cesanese, Trebbiano, Malvasia and Moscato di Terracina grapes are produced with special care, and since 1993 also with ecocompatible methodologies to guarantee the maximum quality with full respect of the environment.
Currently the company is managed by Gabriele Pandolfo together with his wife Enza and his son Andrea.
The Circeo area, after many years, eventually has obtained the "Denominazione di Origine Controllata" (denomination of controlled origin) winning for these wines the proper acknowledgement.
For many years this Company has been involved in the development of the grape Moscato di Terracina, special indigenous clone of the moscato grape, which grows on the hills around the town of Terracina.
