Grion

At the beginning of the last century, in the days of the Austro-Hungarian empire, Francesco Grion founded his azienda agricola. Located in the heart of Collio, a sub-zone of Friuli, the Grion family has always produced cereals and the cultivation of vines was not their primary business. Now, Daniele Grion, owner and winemaker of the azienda has extended his property to 10 hectares entirely dedicated to vineyards. He is young in age but knowledgeable, experienced and determined to maintain what the Collio and its microclimate offers. His policy about winemaking is very straightforward, like his character: low yelds, stainless steel vats only and with an unmistakable full taste from each variety.
