Ingredients
359g celeriac
350g carrots
half bottle of a dry red wine
80g onion
40g bacon
2 tbsp of olive oil
1 tsp of tomato paste
salt and pepper
Method
Wash and finely slice the celeriac and the carrots. Cut the bacon in little cubes and finely chop the onion. Slightly pan fry the onion with the bacon in the olive oil. Add salt and pepper.
Add the celeriac and the carrots and cook for about one minute. Add the red wine and a the tomato paste. Stir and cook on a low heat until the wine is completely absorbed (about 25-30 minutes). Serve very hot
