Winemaker Pierpaolo Pecorari is a master craftsman from the hills of NE Italy, close to the border with Slovenia. This younger brother of his majestic wine Panta Rei is a lovely spicy red which has won recent press acclaim.

Tasting Notes
Intense red; spirited cherries in the nose; full and fruity flavour.
Matching
Ravioli in broth; veal; cheese. Also with spicey barbecue food!
Winemaking Notes
Fermentation and maceration for 6-8 days in steel vats at a temperature of 25-30ºC; malolactic fermentation totally carried out. Aged in wooden barrels for 8 months.
