About Us

Amordivino is a British limited company established in 2005 to foster and cater for a growing interest within the UK in Italian wines. The company is owned and managed by Geoff Ponter and Annalisa Baj.

At Amordivino we believe that the huge diversity that Italy offers, both in terms of different types of wine and styles of winemaking, makes it by far the most interesting and exciting of the world’s wine-producing countries. However, this enormous variety has not hitherto been available to the general public.

In an attempt to correct this, as well as importing Italian wines discovered ourselves we are building relationships with other significant importers of Italian wine to present to you the best that Italy has to offer. Many quality Italian wines will not be seen outside the top London restaurants. Amordivino seeks to make these available to customers nationwide, whether in St. Ives, St. Davids or St. Andrews.

Amordivino means “love of wine” and “love divine”.  Auguri!
